Prerequisites

In order to understand and apply the concepts and techniques discussed in this course, students should have a solid understanding of Project Performance Baseline and the Triple Constraint, project scope definition & development (including WBS and control); the project schedule (its purpose, development, and monitoring); and project budget (parameters, development, and allocation).

Students who do not have an understanding of these concepts should consider taking some of the introductory Project Management courses.

Overview

Project Risk Management course provides students with an understanding of a broad range of risk management tools and techniques, as well as immediately applicable strategies for dealing with project risks.

Developed from a practitioner's point of view, this course covers the practical as well as the theoretical side of project management. Students are provided with tools, techniques and materials from a wide variety of sources that will enhance their knowledge and expertise as a project manager.
