Knowledge Age Indigenous Intern Wins Prize for Commitment to Excellence
Knowledge Age Indigenous Intern Wins Prize for Commitment to Excellence
On Thursday 3rd February, Knowledge Age partners Marin Ivezic and Bryan Fenech attended the CareerTrackers Annual Dinner at the Grace Hotel in Sydney’s CBD. CareerTrackers' (www.careertrackers.com.au) mission is to address the critical need for diversity throughout corporate Australia by increasing the number of Indigenous employees in the private sector. Knowledge Age (www.knowledgeage.com) is a corporate sponsor of CareerTrackers innovative and comprehensive internship program which gives talented Indigenous Australians the opportunity to fulfil their career aspirations.
Knowledge Age has been sponsoring Allen Roberts as an intern during his break from business studies at Melbourne University. While at Knowledge Age, Allen has been buddying with Marin and Bryan onsite at the head offices of Knowledge Age’s clients Cargowise (#1 freight and logistics software provider) and the Commonwealth Bank.
The dinner, which coincided with CareerTrackers national student leadership conference, was a wonderful opportunity to recognise the outstanding efforts of Indigenous students and supporters. We met with many of the current interns and heard about their internships and experiences in corporate Australia, which was very rewarding. We took great pride in being there to see Allen win the Careertrackers Prize for Commitment to Excellence.
